How much does it cost?
There are many factors that go into the cost of retirement living: type of accommodation (apartment, cottage, villa, etc.), floor plan, amenities, geographic location and more.

At Concordia Retirement Living, we offer a variety of Entrance Fee options, depending on the community. These are designed to give residents options and flexibility to meet their financial goals.
Refundable Entrance Fee Option
Resident pays a higher Entrance Fee and mid-tier Monthly Fee. If the resident were to vacate their unit, a percentage of the Entrance Fee would be refunded to the resident or their estate. The refundable portion amount varies by community but is often 75%.
Declining Balance Entrance Fee Option
Resident pays a lower Entrance Fee and lower Monthly Fee. If the resident were to vacate their unit in their first several years of occupancy, a smaller percentage of the Entrance Fee would be refunded to the resident or their estate (based on an amortization schedule). After a certain number of years, there would be no refundable portion of the Entrance Fee.
Rental Option
Resident pays a much lower Entrance Fee and higher Monthly Fee. With the Rental Option, the Entrance Fee is a non-refundable deposit payable to Resident Community.
