Memory care at Concordia at Arbutus Park provides specialized, around-the-clock support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other memory-impairing conditions. Our secure, homelike environment that we call Crossroads is designed to promote comfort, familiarity and dignity while offering peace of mind for families.
Our trained team focuses on safety, consistency and meaningful engagement, helping residents maintain routines and a sense of purpose. Personalized care plans are tailored to each individual’s needs and adjusted as those needs change over time.
Most accommodations are private, with semi-private options available to meet a range of preferences and budgets. Residents are encouraged to personalize their space with familiar furnishings and décor to support comfort and recognition.
Services & Amenities
Amenities may vary by building and floor plan, but often include:
- Secure, alarmed entrances and monitored outdoor access
- 24-hour staff support and emergency response system
- Assistance with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene
- Mobility assistance
- Medication management and monitoring
- Three chef-inspired meals daily, with nutritional needs accommodated
- Increased activity programming tailored to cognitive abilities
- A full calendar of structured activities, special events and outings
- Multiple activity and common areas designed for memory support
- Housekeeping and laundry services (additional fee for laundry)
- Scheduling of medical appointments and transportation
- Paid utilities (except telephone and cable television)
- Routine indoor and outdoor maintenance
- On-site barber and beauty shop
- Chapel services, Bible studies and faith-based programming
