Good Samaritan Hospice Free Youth Bereavement Event (May 2)

May 2, 2025 | 5:15 pm - 7:30 pm

Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia, will host a free Youth Bereavement Care Event for young individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, at its Middlesex Twp. location, 116 Browns Hill Rd., Valencia, PA 16059.

Following entry registration begins at 5:15 p.m., the event will focus on creating personalized memory boxes and is open to bereaved youth up to age 21, as well as their caregivers. Attendees should bring items that remind them of the special person in their lives who died, which will be used to make a unique memory box.

Adults can relax and unwind, receive support from a bereavement coordinator or create their own memory box.

Dinner will be provided for all guests, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. While our bereavement programs are rooted in the Christian faith, they offer a supportive environment that welcomes individuals of all faiths or backgrounds.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged by April 25, but walk-ins will be accepted.

Register online by filling out the form on this page.
