Good Samaritan Hospice Butterfly Release (2026)

The 10th Annual Good Samaritan Hospice Butterfly Release will be from 2–3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at Succop Nature Park, 185 Airport Road, Butler, PA 16001.

You are invited to honor and celebrate the memory of your loved ones through this unique memorial event. The event, which is free to attend and open to the public.

Butterflies for the release may be bought at $10 each. Each attendee may purchase a maximum of two butterflies; those who wish to make an additional donation in memory of a loved one are welcome to do so.

T-shirts will also be on sale for $15.

Walk-ups are welcome, but pre-registration is highly encouraged by July 10 to guarantee a butterfly.

Seating is limited, so please bring your own chairs or blankets to the event.

The event will also include musical performances, light refreshments and children’s activities.
