Concordia Hospice of Washington Butterfly Release (2024)

The annual Concordia Hospice of Washington Butterfly Release will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday Aug. 18 at the Valley View Farm, 102 Orndorff Rd., Waynesburg, PA 15370.

Open to the public, the event is free to attend with releasable butterflies available for a $10 donation each.

Those in attendance are invited to honor and celebrate the memory of their loved ones through this unique memorial event. Music will be provided by Brittany Blair on the harp.

All proceeds benefit Concordia Hospice of Washington’s mission to provide care and offer emotional, social and spiritual support for patients and their families. All donations are tax-deductible.

Walk-ups are welcome, but pre-registration is highly encouraged by July 1 to guarantee a butterfly.
