Concordia will present a free CEU day on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for PT/OT/PTA/COTA/SLP employees and guest partnering therapists. This year’s course is:
“Current Concepts in Management of Parkinson’s Disease”
Concordia employees are expected to attend the seminar, as it will provide an opportunity to interact with therapists across Concordia’s continuum of care, as well as provide a cost-free opportunity to earn 7 CEUs.
The host site this year will again be Butler County Community College – Founders Hall. The agenda for the day is as follows:
- 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. – Registration (drinks and light breakfast options provided)
- 8:00 -10:00 a.m. – Lecture: Etiology, Impairments, Medical Management, Therapy Exam, Staging
- 10:00 – 10:15 a.m. – Break
- 10:15 – 12:00 p.m. – Lecture: Non-motor Impairments, Speech Dysfunction and Interventions
- 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. – Lunch (provided)
- 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. – Activity Lab: Various Exercise
- 2:00 – 2:15 p.m. – Break
- 2:15 – 3:00 p.m. – Activity Lab: Various Exercise
- 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Postural and Gait Considerations
