The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Patricia Thomas!

Patricia joined the Concordia family in June of 2010 as a Home Health Aide for Concordia Visiting Nurses’ Baden service area. After earning her LPN credentials, Patricia joined the team at Concordia of Cranberry as a Charge Nurse before transitioning to Good Samaritan Hospice’s Beaver at Heritage Valley Inpatient Unit in April of 2013.

Patricia told us the one word she would use to describe Concordia is “opportunity” and explained why she chooses to work for our organization.

“Concordia gave me a starting place as a Home Health Aide and the opportunity to grow as a Licensed Practical Nurse. There are many qualities that I enjoy about the organization. I appreciate that Concordia is faith-based and find my career very rewarding. I also like that they provide many local career opportunities in Beaver County through a variety of locations and service lines. My favorite Concordia memory is the grand opening of Good Samaritan Hospice’s Beaver Inpatient Unit!”

Outside of work, Patricia enjoys quality time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and church family. She loves to treasure hunt at any local sale and enjoys baking and cooking during the holiday seasons.

We asked Patricia what motivates her to succeed and she told us the following.

“I am motivated to help every patient and family at Good Samaritan Hospice. My faith, family, friends and co-workers are my greatest motivators.”
