My Concordia Career: Misty Ingram’s Story

Ingram MistyNEW

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Misty Ingram!

Misty began her Concordia career in November of 2003 as an Aide for Concordia at Cabot’s Personal Care department. She completed her nursing degree while there and later transferred to Concordia Visiting Nurses (CVN), where she worked as a field RN for several years. She was later promoted to CVN Cabot Clinical Supervisor prior to becoming the Compliance and Ethics Manager for Concordia Community Support Services (CCSS.) Misty is currently the CCSS Director of Centralized Services and Compliance Manager.

When we asked Misty to sum up Concordia in one word, she said “compassionate” and gave a terrific response as to why Concordia is synonymous with that word, and also why she chooses to work for us:

“Concordia is committed to providing personalized, compassionate care to all of our patients to improve the health of the individuals and the communities we serve. I believe in our Mission and Vision statements, both rooted in compassion. I also enjoy working for Concordia because of my passion for home health and hospice, and for the wide range of services that we offer throughout our entire organization.”

Misty’s favorite memory of working for Concordia to date was the Missions Event CCSS held last September in partnership with our friends at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot to help build a dormitory-style house. Our team helped to build over 180 frames that were delivered to Oklahoma for 18-23-year-old girls who have aged out of foster care.

Misty enjoys spending her time outside of Concordia with her family and friends. You can often find her camping, fishing or skiing!

When we asked Misty what motivates her to succeed, she said the following:

“My two sons, my passion for home health and hospice care and to ensure our patients are receiving the best care possible.”
