My Concordia Career: Michelle Arner

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals!

Let us introduce you to Michelle Arner! Michelle is a Certified Nursing Assistant for Concordia at Rebecca Residence and celebrated her 14-year anniversary with Concordia in March. She describes Concordia as “compassionate.”

Michelle stated that she chooses to work for Concordia because of our organization’s community-minded and family-oriented environment.

“Concordia feels more like a family. They truly care about their employees and it shows in many ways.”  

In her free time, Michelle spends her time with friend and family and has many hobbies! She enjoys cooking, collecting elephants, crafting, hiking, attending concerts, and is a very gifted cake decorator!

When we asked Michelle what her favorite Concordia memory was, she provided us with the following touching anecdote:

“We had a couple who were both near the end of their lives at our facility. The staff arranged for the couple to be in the same room and pushed their beds together so that they could hold hands. For me, that sums up how caring our Team is. It’s a visual that I will never forget.”
