My Concordia Career: Kristen Snow’s Story

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Kristen Snow!

Kristen joined the Concordia family in January of 2019 as a Nursing Assistant for Concordia at Cabot. She stated that “nothing has made me happier than my decision to work for Concordia!” Kristen hopes to grow in her role and has aspirations of becoming a mentor.

When we asked Kristen to describe Concordia in one word, she was the first employee we’ve interviewed who said that was impossible!

“I honestly can’t choose just one word. Concordia is both compassionate and caring. Concordia offers so much for our residents and our team members. The one thing that is very endearing for me to see is that Concordia makes residents feel at home.”

Kristen chooses to work for Concordia because of the organization’s compassionate nature and how that extends to both residents and staff.

“I love that I have the opportunity to help others. Concordia allows me to have a special focus on our residents and in turn I can give them the support that they need. I also appreciate Concordia’s focus on career development and growth – they offer so many educational and advancement opportunities, which is incredible.”

As for favorite memories, even though Kristen has just been with us a little under a year, she has made quite a few.

“I’ve made many great memories so far, but nothing beats when the residents I care for look forward to seeing me! I feel like I’ve gained an extended family!”

Kristen spends her time outside of Concordia with her three beautiful girls, her husband, and their friends. She enjoys crafting with her kids and shopping.

Kristen cited her family as a great support system and stated that they are who motivate her to succeed each and every day!
