My Concordia Career: Jill Uber’s Story

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Jill Uber!

Jill came to the organization in 2006 as a weekend Housekeeper. During her time at Concordia of Wexford she has developed her career path and has spent the past several years as one of our fantastic Cooks!

Jill describes Concordia as a “caring” organization to work for and reside in.

“I choose to work for Concordia because of our residents. I enjoy helping others, especially the elderly. I also enjoy making people smile. Concordia provides a caring surrounding for their employees and residents.”

Jill’s favorite memories of Concordia occur every day when she observes our residents enjoying one another’s company.

“I really enjoy, and will always keep in my Concordia memory bank, watching residents sit on the porch and just talk – often times they are reminiscing.”

In her free time, Jill enjoys camping and playing cards. She also works part-time as a Nanny.

She said she is easily motivated to succeed due to the values that were instilled in her as a child.

“My family taught us how to have an excellent work ethic. We were taught to be loyal, friendly and to believe in ourselves. Those qualities motivate me to this day and I strive to be the best me each and every day.”
