The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Chris Maharaj!
Chris is a Restorative Aide for Concordia Village of Tampa and recently celebrated her 15-year work anniversary! She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and developed her talent with a specialization in restorative nursing care.
Chris told us that she believes Concordia is best described as “focused.”
“Concordia has maintained a focus in providing the highest quality of care to our residents, and continues to focus on sustaining a positive work environment for employees.”
She continued with why she chooses to work for Concordia.
“The dedication shown to foster a safe and nurturing environment for residents is just one of the many reasons that I choose to work for Concordia. I also enjoy the supportive, team-oriented approach taken in providing quality care to our residents, along with having the opportunity to interact with different departments within our organization.”
Chris told us that she has had endless special memories of time spent with our residents that make her proud to come to work each day. When asked if she could narrow it down to one memory, she stated:
“If I have to pick just one memory, it would be receiving the honor of being named employee of the month.”
Chris enjoys spending her time outside of Concordia with her family and visiting new places. She cites exercising, cooking and traveling as a few of her favorite hobbies.
Chris said our residents are her motivation to succeed each day.
“Our residents motivate me to do my best so that in return I can assist in improving their quality of life through restorative work.”
