The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals! Let us introduce you to Amy Bailie!

Amy is our Corporate Admissions Director, working out of the Concordia at Cabot location. She began her Concordia career in July of 2005 as a weekend/evening Receptionist for Concordia at Rebecca Residence. Amy’s career progressively developed throughout the years and she has previously held the roles of Admissions Coordinator, Assistant Director of Admissions, and Director of Admissions.

Asked to describe Concordia in one word, Amy said “harmony.”

“Concordia is synonymous with harmony. We are a team, and we all work together to ensure the best care possible for our residents and patients.”

Amy told us about the many reasons why she chose a career with Concordia.

“I wanted a way to give back and make a difference in the world and Concordia seemed like the perfect opportunity.  I always idolized my grandparents and I wanted to serve people who have lots of life long experiences. Creating an experience for the next chapter in someone’s book of life is exciting because you know their life will be enriched while living at Concordia.”

She continued, “Another reason I enjoy my career is because all of my coworkers are like family! The working environment at Concordia creates long lasting friendships while nurturing growth. One of my favorite memories here was watching our CEO do cartwheels when a building reached a full census. It’s a very positive environment to work in!”

Amy spends her time outside of Concordia with her husband and two children. Both her son and husband play hockey so a lot of her time is spent at the ice rink. When she’s not spending time with the guys, she likes to spend time and hang out with her daughter Bella. Amy also enjoys going to the gym, attending Pittsburgh Penguin games, kayaking, and yoga to relax.

When we asked Amy how she measures her own success and what motivates her to keep going, she had the following to say.

“I am very goal oriented and need to exceed goals daily while making good decisions and being the best leader that I can be.”
