Kristin Laboda was recently appointed executive director of Good Samaritan Hospice (GSH), a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
A graduate of Robert Morris University and Grove City College, Laboda was first hired as the manager of Concordia Private Care in 2014, moving to the role of business manager of GSH in 2019.
As executive director of GSH, Laboda will direct all business operations for the hospice company, including budget development and maintenance, growth and marketing strategies, financial management, training and development efforts for new and existing team members, business process improvements and patient relations.
She will also manage daily operational activities, including scheduling, accounts payable, contract administration, recruiting and hiring, quality control and regulatory compliance.
“My position allows me to impact the lives of others through the care that our staff provides, through the assistance and support we can give families,” Laboda said. “Working for Concordia gives me the opportunity to serve my community, because Concordia’s mission really sets it apart in this industry. We truly function as a team with one goal: to best serve our patients.”
Laboda and her husband, Tony, have two children, Luke and Grace. They live in Sarver and are members of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights.
