Did you know Concordia has 10 senior care locations that offer personal care or assisted living? At any given time, we are serving close to 1,000 seniors in western PA and eastern OH in that one service line alone! For those unsure of what personal care services involve, it is inpatient care where residents receive professional assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing and personal hygiene, mobility assistance, wound care, preparation of special nutritional meals or diets, housekeeping, activities, laundry, spiritual care and more.

“When I decided to come to Concordia I was unsure of what to expect, but it quickly became my home and I love it here! Everyone is very friendly and always there to cheer you up. This was especially true when my husband passed away a while after we moved here together. The staff went above and beyond to comfort me and ease my grieving… My family and friends are all marveled by the facility when they come to visit me; they love it as much as I do, and my friends consider coming here too when the time is right. I love to participate in activities and go on all the outings. Artsy activities are my favorite, especially painting, and I really enjoy the musicals and holiday-related entertainment held here. “I came to Rebecca from a different nursing facility, in Beaver, because I wasn’t receiving the care there that I needed. The skilled nursing staff at Concordia nursed me back to health. They did a great job of working with me, unlike my previous facility. The staff did all of the things that I needed and had the resources necessary to do so. Now I am in personal care, where I have made friends and enjoy a lot of activities, especially the religious and cooking activities. The staff is great and everyone is so helpful.
