At Concordia Lutheran Ministries, the health, safety, and wellness of our residents, patients, and staff members will always remain our top priority. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic situation closely. Each of our facilities and service lines may have slightly different PPE and COVID-19 policies, based on various recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services our respective state Departments of Health, and our medical directors.
As an organization, Concordia understands that COVID-19 vaccines are one of the best tools for protecting those in our care and combating the pandemic. Concordia is fully committed to complying with the CMS vaccine mandate, ensuring that all residents, patients, and staff members are educated about the benefits of the vaccine and have easy access to receive the vaccine.
Visitation is generally open across all Concordia’s locations and service lines, but can occasionally be temporarily halted based on various factors. We recommend that anyone wishing to visit a loved one contact the facility beforehand to ensure visitation is open at that moment. Depending on location/service line, visitors may be asked to wear a mask or be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival. Visitors can contact the location they intend to visit with any questions they may have.
Concordia has been synonymous with high-quality care since 1881, and our commitment to those we serve remains unwaveringly high in the current landscape. We sincerely appreciate the concerns of our community and we continue to ask for your prayers. To read the current CDC guidelines and updates, please click here to visit the CDC website.
