Concordia Lutheran Ministries officially added Concordia of Bridgeville to its family of locations and services today.

The beautiful 15.8-acre community was formerly owned by Hershey-based Country Meadows Retirement Communities. The location offers supportive retirement living, personal care and memory care. Concordia of Bridgeville is part of the Concordia of Monroeville corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Chris James will remain Executive Director for Concordia of Bridgeville, and Concordia plans to honor all resident contracts and obligations. As a nonprofit organization, Concordia also plans to modify admissions standards to accept additional residents and intends to subsidize more people at the location. Last year, Concordia provided subsidized care to hundreds of residents system wide who have outlived their resources.

Concordia Lutheran Ministries President and CEO Keith Frndak said, “Concordia of Bridgeville is a beautiful community with great residents and team members. Providing high-quality care, an excellent employee culture and financial stability are three of our main goals at all of our locations, and we look forward to serving the Bridgeville area for many years to come.”
