Concordia Christmas Video (2024)

Throughout Concordia, residents, patients, staff, families and members of the community celebrate the Christmas season in several ways, including festive parties, gift exchanges and shared activities. Collectively, we excitedly count down the days until we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Inspired by the Advent calendar concept, today we share our annual Christmas video, featuring staff and residents wishing you a Merry Christmas. While the Advent calendar itself takes many of us back to our childhood – with the giddy anticipation of opening the next days’ door – it also brings to mind the four virtues of the season: hope, love, joy and peace.

We have hope, because God sent His Son to save us from our sin. We have love; the type of pure, untarnished love that can only come from the one who created you. We have the joy that comes from a connection to Jesus, our heavenly AND earthly king. And we have peace, from a God who guards the hearts and minds of those who believe in Him.

Be sure to watch to the end of the video, when Concordia President and CEO Keith Frndak shares a warm Christmas message reflecting on the joy of the season and our shared mission of care, faith and community.

As always, we are reminded of the many blessings we receive from our neighbors surrounding the many Concordia locations.

Especially during our Season of Hope, we are grateful for all the prayers, gifts, volunteerism, encouragement and faith in our mission of caring for others.
