Concordia Celebrates National Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Month (2020)

Every November, Concordia celebrates National Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Month by recognizing the dedicated healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to deliver home and community-based services to millions of patients each year.

According to the National Home Care Association, field clinicians in the home care and hospice industry will travel close to a billion miles this year to deliver the highest quality health care at home.  The nurses, therapists, nursing assistants and ancillary staff who have chosen a career in home care, hospice and palliative care deserve our full appreciation and gratitude for serving their communities.

The burdens these exceptional caregivers help relieve for their patients, and the family members caring for them, are numerous. Each and every caregiver makes a remarkable difference by promoting and preserving the dignity of those they serve. The unwavering commitment to care in such a profound way by tending to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of others, especially in a year that has brought unprecedented uncertainty and unique challenges, truly exemplifies selflessness.

This November, Concordia honors all home care and hospice professionals who work with diligence and compassion to serve the care needs of our community members. Please join us in honoring these dedicated providers throughout the month!
