2025 Concordia Fishing Derby: Holy Mackerel, What a Day!

The sun came out, the fish were biting and the smiles were contagious at Concordia’s 2025 Fishing Derby for Kids! Held at the scenic Saxony Farm Lake, the event welcomed nearly 700 guests for a day of outdoor fun and fellowship.

Every half hour brought cheers as prizes were awarded for the biggest and smallest catches, and four lucky young anglers reeled in the grand prize – a bicycle or karaoke machine to take home!

We’re incredibly grateful to Sprankle’s Neighborhood Markets for providing snacks and drinks, helping spread the word on social media ahead of the event and volunteering their time on derby day. From setup to snacks, their kindness helped make the day a true catch!
