2018 Concordia at Cabot Live Nativity Enjoyed by Many | PHOTOS

Despite some dreary weather and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers game happening at the same time, the Concordia at Cabot Live Nativity was enjoyed by over 400 people on Sunday!

There were three performances of the portrayal of the birth of Jesus, and between each show, we had Christmas cookies, hot chocolate and some great entertainment inside. Special thanks to the St. Luke Lutheran School 3rd and 4th graders, the Haven Alleluia Chorale and the Tri-Parish Choir for playing, singing and leading the crowd in Christmas carols!

The event included Concordia residents contributing in many ways: narrating, decorating, icing cookies, greeting guests, singing, playing handbells and more! Another big hit were the live animals, including a camel. Special thanks to all the residents, staff and community members who made this another wonderful event. Also, a big thank you to our cast:

  • Mary: Laura Leppert
  • Joseph: John Roofner
  • Wise Men: Tony Geitgey, Eric Peat, Chris Nagg
  • Shepherds/Shepherdesses: Cindy Perri, Fallon Franz, Luke Franz, Kyrstin Relihan
  • Angels: Amy Bailie, Emily Bitting, Beth Bitting, Dana DePaulo, Bailey Geitgey
  • Narrator: Bob Kaltenhauser

We also would like to thank Saxonburg Fire Police for traffic control and all of our OUTSTANDING staff and volunteers for their time and enthusiasm in helping to share the Christmas message.

As the world celebrates Christmas, we join together and openly proclaim the true meaning of this miraculous event. We offer thanks to God for sending his only Son, Jesus Christ. We wish you and your family a Blessed Christmas!
