2017 Concordia Oktoberfest Was One for the Ages

To say it was a blast would be an understatement: It was another Concordia Oktoberfest for the ages, as we hosted well over 1,600 guests for an evening of fun, food, fellowship and fireworks!

Our conservative estimate is that we had between 450- 500 kids enjoy some free food in addition to the free activities like a bouncy house, pumpkin decorating, face painting, pony rides, hay rides and more! Once again this year, The Mikey Dee Polka Band entertained everyone with a great set. The churches that we offered tables to were sold out of baked goods just two hours into the event. Same with the Haven resident rummage sale. And finally, we closed out the event with a spectacular fireworks display from our friends at Zambelli.

Special thanks to all those who took some time to visit us that day, and especially to the 80+ volunteers from Concordia who made the event run as smooth as it did!

Below are some pictures from the event (click the photos to enlarge). Feel free to leave a comment below, letting us know what you enjoyed! A bunch of these pictures are also on the Concordia Facebook page, so be sure to check those out too (while you’re there, be sure to Like our page!).
