15th Annual Concordia Dog Show a Hit with Residents, Community | Photos

Depending on which source you turn to, the formula for calculating dog years to human years can vary quite a bit. One formula says to use 10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after…. And by that math, the Concordia Dog Show just hit the ripe age of 73!

If you didn’t do the math in your head yet, that would be 15 years. 🙂

It was another great evening for the show, which was held Wednesday, Aug. 12 behind the Lund Care Center. Over 150 residents, staff, family and community members came out to watch the 25 dogs strut their stuff. Congratulations to the winners in the four categories!

  • Best Groomed – Angel (Pekinese)
  • Most Friendly – Jasmine and J.J. (Yorkshire Terriers)
  • Best Performer – Sugar (Bichon/Shih Tzu Mix)
  • Most Obedient – Foxy (Chow Mix)
