In honor of National Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, Good Samaritan Hospice (GSH) and Hope’s Road are offering a free recorded prayer program “Prayers for Grieving Parents” on the Hope’s Road Facebook page on Monday, July 20 at 2 p.m. Those interested may also request that the link be e-mailed to them.
The program, which is for those navigating any type of child loss, including those grieving pregnancy loss, the death of a child or the death of an adult child, will include reflection and encouragement for grieving parents, guardians and those supporting grieving parents.
This year, parents grieving the loss of a child are invited to receive a candle and prayer card in remembrance of their child.
To request the program link and/or the candle/prayer card, please call 724-898-0125 or e-mail Julie Tuskan at jtuskan@good-samaritanhospice.org.
While GSH and Hope’s Road programs are rooted in the Christian faith and include prayer, they are open to all faiths and backgrounds.
