2025 Concordia Golf Classic: Drives Making a Difference
A mild mid-morning sprinkle did not dampen a picturesque course and the powerful generosity that made the 21st Annual Concordia Golf Classic on Monday, July 14, a tremendous success.
Held once again at the beautiful Treesdale Golf & Country Club, 216 golfers hit the greens in a scramble-style tournament.
In addition to the fun on the fairways, the event featured a basket drawing with 31 incredible baskets, a 50/50 and 10 silent auctions.
This year Concordia President & CEO Keith Frndak also officiated a heated live auction for three golf spots at Oakmont, including caddies and lunch at the club, donated by Babb Inc. The winner, Todd Gelbaugh (Physician’s Mobile X-Ray), put in the winning bid of $5,000.
We also offer another special thanks to Tim McLaughlin (Blink) who won the 50/50 and, with the wave of a hand, immediately donated the $1,860 in winnings back to Concordia’.
Preliminary results show that this year’s outing raised over $140,000 to support Concordia’s charitable mission.
Supporting a Timeless Mission
Proceeds from the Golf Classic benefit Concordia’s Good Samaritan Endowment Fund, which provides confidential charitable care to residents and patients who have limited or exhausted financial means.
The fund remains one of the most historic and important pieces of Concordia’s faith-driven mission to serve those in need.

Top Teams
The first-place team of Bryan Kress, Vern Kettner, Bill Bishop and Sam Bishop posted an impressive 53 (-19).
Coming in second was the Dillon McCandless King Coulter & Graham Team of Mike Hnath, John Anderson, Mike Gentile and Scott Balson.
After a tie-breaker, third-place went to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh Team of Richard Wilson, Jason Holt, Brian Holt and Ken Cooley.
A number of skill prizes were also handed out, rounding out a friendly but competitive day on the course.
