Concordia Celebrates National Home Health Care, Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Month: A Thank You From Leadership

Concordia home and community-based services C-Suite

Every November, Concordia celebrates National Home Health Care, Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Month by recognizing the dedicated healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to deliver in-home care to millions of patients each year. Throughout Concordia’s home and community-based services in the past fiscal year, our collective team served 25,324 persons in 535,141 visits, 6,224 new medical equipment orders were processed and our direct care clinicians traveled 4.8 million miles, close to 200 trips around the globe – an awe-inspiring testament to our team’s commitment to our mission of caring.

This is a special month for our Concordia home and community-based services team as it provides a focused opportunity to celebrate our team’s contributions to making an impact on the lives of all we serve. This year we are especially thankful for the opportunity to serve even more of God’s people in the comfort of their homes as we welcomed Concordia Home Health and Hospice of Bethlen to our family of services.

To our team – thank you for the many blessings you bring to Concordia, to one another and to those we serve. The strength of our agencies grows each year because of you – because of your compassion, your respect, your preservation of dignity, your career achievements, your dedication to patient-centered care and for carrying our mission outside of Concordia’s walls and the patient visit. You all inspire us to do better each day, and we are truly thankful that you all chose to be a part of the Concordia family.

2 Corinthians 4:15: “All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”

God’s Blessings,
